Sutri to Campagnano di Roma
Which way do we go?
Hello y’all, we made it again! We didn’t get out before 6:00am, but shortly after. It was a nice cool start, and we knew that we had to get moving, and keep moving. We stopped briefly at 3 miles just to take our bags off, coincidentally at the entrance of a golf course. You don’t see many of those here. We stopped at the town listed at the 6 mile point, for the breakfast donut, and drink, and kept moving knowing the heat was coming. Stopped at 11 miles at a park picnic bench for a quick snack, then finished the last 4 miles. It was really starting to heat up, the feels like was well over 90 degrees. We were arrived in town, of course, up on a hill at around 1:30, and were glad to be done. We didn’t walk with anyone today, we were all on different schedules, I guess. We did see the folks we know, in town after finishing. The highlights today were the golf course, I think they look so nice and manicured. The herd of sheep and peacock that walked up to us within 3 ft. at the park, which was also a kind of animal park. Tomorrow is our next to last day of walking, another 15 miler. It is only going down to 69 degrees tonight, so it’s going to be a tough one. We will grind it out though. Until tomorrow.
