Montefiascone to Viterbo

Leaving our hosts house.

Hello y’all, a good 3rd day in a row.  A relatively easy down hill and flat 10.5 miles.  Just a very sunny finish at 11:30, no shade for the last 3 miles or so.  There was a picnic table at 3.5 / 4.0 miles into our hike for a break, some snacks and fruit.  I think one of the more interesting parts of the walk, was when we were just cruising along, when I noticed, what looked like grape vines.  I was trying to pick out the bunches of grape, but there were none, but what was hanging there were kiwi.  Neither of us knew where kiwi came from, a tree maybe, we never thought about it.  But, there they were.  We also traveled along what Rudy and I are calling Roman Roads, not verified though.  Lots of churches in Viterbo, we got to most of them.  Tomorrow is the last of real easy days, another 10.5 miler.  We are trying to leave extra early to beat the rain coming in the afternoon.  Catch up again tomorrow.
