Last Rest Day - Acquapendente
Us a the gate or portal to the city
As for today, I think that we saw all of Acquapendente has to offer. This was one of the weirdest towns we’ve been in. There were absolutely no tourists here besides us. There was continuous traffic in all of the streets, I remarked to Rudy, that we will be lucky to get out of this place alive. They don’t seem to cater to tourists either. Everything that we went to see was well marked, but not everything was open or had much explanation. It was a good day with good food all around. Time to get to bed, we have an early rise time. Until tomorrow.
The cathedral
The crypt underneath.
The church and bell tower that we wished was open.
The remaining portion of a castle that once existed.
Old basketball court - future pickleball court.
